Fireball
The 2004-born chestnut stallion Fireball represents an interesting intersection of American show-horse brilliance and classical Polish breeding tradition. Bred in Poland by Stanislaw Redestowicz, Fireball embodied the fusion of two world-renowned bloodlines: the global show-ring dynasty of Magnum Psyche and the solid, athletic dam line descending from Monogramm and Michalów’s influential sire Emigrant.
Standing 154 cm (approximately 15.1 hands), Fireball was a well-balanced, compact horse of refined type. He gained early attention in the show ring, earning the title of Reserve Champion Colt at the Casino Cup in Baden, Austria in 2006.
Fireball’s sire, Magnum Psyche (1995–2023), was one of the most prolific and influential stallions of the modern era. A son by Padrons Psyche and out of A Fancy Miracle by Sasaki, Magnum Psyche combined Russian and Spanish bloodlines in a pedigree that produced exceptional type and balance. His record as a show horse was unmatched: U.S. National Champion, Canadian National Champion, Argentine National Champion, and Scottsdale Supreme Champion among many other titles. More importantly, he became a pre-eminent sire, credited with nearly 1,400 foals worldwide. Through such sons as WH Justice and Magnum Chall HVP, Magnum Psyche established a male line that continues to dominate international show breeding into the twenty-first century.
Fireball was the first foal out of the grey mare Flotylka who was foaled in 2000 and bred by Stanislaw Redestowicz as well. She was sired by Emigrant (1991–2019), one of Michalów Stud’s key chief sires. He was a son by Ararat out of the esteemed Emigrantka family. Emigrant’s offspring are known for their excellent structure, athleticism, and refinement.
Flotylka’s dam Fuma was a daughter by Monogramm (Negatraz × Monogramma), the American-bred stallion whose lease to Michalów in the 1990s revolutionized Polish breeding. Monogramm’s daughters, like Kwestura, Zagrobla, Emocja, Embra or Emmona (just to name a few), brought new levels of refinement, charisma, and balance to the Polish Arabian. Flotylka’s dam line traces to Forta, a grey Gumniska bred mare that survived World War II.
In 2009, Fireball was leased to Ta Merij Arabians in Austria, where he gained further recognition as a promising young stallion.
Although his life and his breeding career was limited, Fireball did sire a few noteworthy foals in Austria who achieved regional show success. The chestnut mare TM Lea (out of TM Laguna) was Bronze Champion Mare at the Kauber Platte Championships 2014, while Flame of Paradise (out of Porlena) earned the title of Silver Champion Colt at the Araber-Sommerfestival 2011.
Fireball spent his final years in Iran where died untimely in 2013 at the age of nine.
Gazella II
Gazella II was a bay mare foaled in 1914 at the Jezupol stud of Count Wladyslaw Dzieduszycki. She was sired by Kohejlan (1903) and out of Abra by Anvil. Although of small scale, Jezupol was one of the most valuable studs in Galicia between 1885 and 1914, preserving the bloodlines of three remarkable foundation mares imported by Juliusz Dzieduszycki. By 1909, the stud counted twelve purebred Arabian mares of the highest class, yet in 1914 almost all were seized by Russian troops. Only a few young fillies survived the turmoil of war, among them Gazella II, Mlecha, and Zulejma, alongside the mare Pomponia (1902).
In 1919, Henryk Przewlocki of the Mordy Estate purchased Gazella II from Jezupol, who was then in foal to Mazepa I (1910). Only one year later, Gazella II - along with other mares - was transferred to Janów Podlaski, where she became one of the most significant foundation mares. She was a fertile broodmare producing four stallions and eight mares of which the following should be mentioned here:
Her first foal, the grey stallion Kohejl Ibn Mazepa (1920, by Mazepa I), was bred while Gazella II was still at Mordy Estate. This stallion served at Niskolyzy between 1928 and 1934, leaving valuable progeny such as Adamas (1930) and Bankrut (1931), known for their riding qualities and strength.
Elegantka (1923, by Bakszysz) was Gazella II’s first truly outstanding daughter. Retained at Janów, she became one of the most important broodmares of her generation, founding her own female family that continues to this day. Elegantka was the dam of Lowelas (a sire at Trakehnen) and Wielki Szlem, one of the four famous Ofir sons, and later influential sire in Poland.
Fryga II (1924, by Bakszysz), another daughter bred at Janów, produced the mare Maskota who was grand dam of the Polish stallion Pilot who was transferred to the United States in 1945 as spoils of war. Taken to Russia in 1939, Fryga II gave birth to Ofirka by Ofir, her most notable daughter.
Another son of Gazella II was Hardy (1926, by Ganges I). A correct but somewhat plain stallion, Hardy was standing at Janów from 1931 to 1935, chiefly to produce strong colts for the half-bred program. His progeny proved hardy and effective riding horses, and he was taken to Russia in 1939.
Jaskólka II (1928, by Koheilan I) was another influential Janów-bred daughter. She was remembered for producing Wilga (1938, by Ofir), who was dam Arwila (1947) and Carmen (1942).
Gazella II's daughter Makata (1931, by Fetysz) secured her place in history as the dam of the legendary Witraz (1938, by Ofir). Through Witraz, Makata contributed decisively to the modern Polish Arabian: he was the sire of Bask, the 'Polish Queen' Bandola and many other important horses. Although Makata herself was lost during the Second World War, her legacy endures through her son Witraz.
Najada (1932, by Fetysz) proved as another daughter of influence. She produced Ali Said (by Ofir) in 1940. Najada was transferred to Nowy Dwor in 1952 where she produced five foals, among them the mare Naganka by Bad Afas who became foundation mare at Sheila Varian's stud in the U.S..
The youngest and perhaps the most famous of Gazella II’s daughters was Taraszcza (1937, by Enwer Bey). After the war she was taken to Tersk Stud in Russia, where she produced Negatiw (1945, by Naseem), a stallion of great influence. Other of her offspring were Nitochka (dam of Neptun, Naslednik, Naplyv or Napersnitsa), Teplitsa (dam of Trel or Teberda) and Patent.
Contemporary accounts stress the paradox of her influence: While she was an superb broodmare producing excellent foals, she was not considered beautiful. Wladyslaw Pruski described Gazella II as a plain and unattractive bay mare, marked by high stockings on all four legs, sharp outlines, a sloping roof-shaped croup, sickle hocks, and soft pasterns. She lacked the nobility usually associated with refined Arabian type.
Although Gazella II left several sons, her greatest significance lies in the extraordinary broodmares she produced. Among them, Elegantka, Najada, and Taraszcza each founded their own mare families, all of which continue the legacy of Gazella II till today.
Stival
The bay stallion Stival was sired by Gazal Al Shaqab. Gazal Al Shaqab - born at Al Shaqab Stud, Qatar - was World Champion Stallion in 2001. Through Gazal Al Shaqab, Stival is a paternal half-brother to All Nations Cup Champion Marwan Al Shaqab (x Little Liza Fame) who is considered Gazal Al Shaqab best son in the show ring as well as sire.
Stival's dam was the bay Paloma De Jamaal, 2003 US National Top Ten Futurity Filly. She was sired by Soho Carol who was born in Brazil at the farm of Mr. Ailton Braga. This bay Ali Jamaal son was then exported to the US and later came to Europe. Paloma's dam was the Straight Spanish Barich de Washoe daughter Palomara who also produced 2011 Scottsdale Top Ten Western Pleasure Junior Horse Amado de Jamaal, full-brother to Paloma de Jamaal.
Born at the farm of the Peri & Mike Wilson in Florida, Stival started his halter show career at the US Nationals in 2007 where he was Top Ten Yearling Colt. One year later he won his class Colts 2years old at Scottsdale unanimously. Then in 2009, he was shown at the Arabian Breeders World Cup in Las Vegas. With a great attitude, a lot of type and beautiful Arabian expression, Stival was awarded Junior Champion Colt.
After conquering the American show ring, Stival continued his halter show career in Europe. At the Int. Show in Baden Baden Germany, he was awarded Silver Champion Colt 2009 before crowding his successful show year by being named Junior Male Silver Champion at the All Nations Cup.
After succeeding in the show ring, he became sire of successful show horses. For the United States, he sired for example Barzan Al Shahania and Trussardi, a very typey stallion that was named US National Champion Futurity Colt in 2012 and who is building up his own dynasty of offspring.
Stival's son WW Stivallea - born in the United States - was sold to Israel where he was awarded National Gold Champion Senior Stallion in 2014.
In Europe, the most notable sons are both from Russian bred mares of the Kossack Stud: the bay ByStival Kossack (x Beatrix) and the chestnut Primeval Kossack (x Pribaltika). While ByStival Kossack is a successful sire, Primeval Kossack was Dutch National Gold Champion Junior Colt in 2013 and also is a successful sport horse.
His final years, Stival suffered from lamnities. In February 2018, Stival had to put down when the illness took its toll. He was just 12.
Berlin MP
The grey stallion Berlin MP, bred in 2018 by Mindy Peters of Mindy Peters Arabians (USA), has quickly risen to international prominence. Towering at just over 16 hands by the age of three, Berlin MP combines elegance, athleticism, and commanding presence in a way that has captured the attention of breeders and judges alike. With his striking Arabian type and proven record in the showring, he is regarded as one of the most exciting young stallions of his generation.
Berlin MP is sired by the Belgian-bred grey stallion S.M.A. Magic One, a son of the influential Psytadel. S.M.A. Magic One is celebrated worldwide as a producer of champions, passing on exotic type and refinement to his offspring. Through him, Berlin MP is a paternal half-brother to Siwar Al Shaqab, World Junior Gold Champion Filly of 2021, and to Monz Albidayer, World Senior Gold Champion Mare of 2022.
Berlin MP’s dam, Baraka MP, is a mare of considerable quality in her own right, also bred by Mindy Peters. A daughter of Alfabia Ajib, she brings the elegance and refinement of Egyptian bloodlines, while her dam, Om El Belinda Estopa, anchors the pedigree in the legendary Om El Arab program. Her dam-line traces directly to Estopa, the Spanish-bred foundation mare of Om El Arab, whose influence on the global Arabian breed is immeasurable. Through this female family, Berlin MP inherits not only beauty but also a heritage of proven producers. His dam-line is further strengthened by its connection to Om El Beneera, one of the jewels of the Estopa dynasty.
The combination of S.M.A. Magic One with Baraka MP has proven especially potent. Berlin’s full sister, Sweira Al Jassimya, was a Gold Champion Yearling Filly at Mention in 2017.
Berlin MP himself also competed in the show ring successfully: In 2021, he was crowned Junior Male Gold Champion at the Arabian Breeders World Cup, a title that placed him firmly in the spotlight. The following year, he returned to claim the Senior Male Gold Championship at the same event, delivering a performance in Scottsdale that included no fewer than seven perfect scores of 20.
Most recently, in 2025, Berlin MP added to his accolades with the title of Senior Male Gold Champion at the GCAT Valkenswaard.
Described as “the epitome of an Arabian stallion, right out of a fairy tale,” Berlin MP exemplifies the union of legendary bloodlines and modern refinement. With the strength of S.M.A. Magic One behind him, and the priceless Estopa damline through Baraka MP, he carries a pedigree of proven influence. His commanding show record only strengthens his reputation as a stallion of importance.
Om El Shampane
On a hot Californian summer day of 2005, Om El Shadeeka gave birth to her first foal, a chestnut colt with flaxen mane and tail. Sigi Constanti of Om El Arab, the breeder of the colt, named him Om El Shampane. The name fits his color coat very well.
Om El Shampane's dam Om El Shadeeka is a daughter by Sanadik El Shaklan and out of Om El Shaina. Om El Shaina was the second last daughter of the legendary Spanish mare Estopa, the foundation mare of Sigi's Om El Arab Stud.
Om El Shampane's sire is the grey stallion Al Lahab. Al Lahab by Laheeb IASB is a very well known halter show horse in Europe from Straight Egyptian bloodlines. As a Junior horse, he was European Champion and Reserve All Nations Cup Champion Colt. In 2006, Al Lahab was All Nations Cup and World Champion Stallion. Three years later, he competed in the Nations Cup and in Paris again where he was awarded Senior Gold and Senior Silver Champion Stallion respectively.
Born in California, Om El Shampane was imported to Germany in 2007 where he has been standing at Wagner Arabians ever since where he produced around 20 foals plus some foals for different other breeders. Besides his purebred offspring, he sired a Half-Arabian pinto and an Appaloosa colt.
The chestnut Al Lahab son was never halter shown but Om El Shampane was a awarded with a Silver ribbon at the stallion licensing in Aachen in 2008. He has been trained under saddle and officially showed his ride-ability by passing his field inspection test (section: Dressage) at Luhmühlen in 2011.
Baha AA
Baha AA is a grey stallion of Straight Egyptian breeding, noted for his classic Arabian type with large, dark eyes, refined head and shimmering silver coat. Baha AA’s exceptional conformation and breed type make him stand out.
Born in 2011 and bred by Chen Kedar of Ariela Arabians in Israel, Baha AA is by Al Ayad and out of Baraaqa AA.
His sire Al Ayad descends from Nazeer’s line and carries legendary Straight Egyptian stallions like Morafic, Ansata Ibn Halima, and Ruminaja Ali in his pedigree.
Through Al Ayad, Baha AA is half-brother to Al Ayal AA (x The Vision HG), a successful show champion in the Middle East. His sire Al Ayad was a successful halter show horse too. He was awarded e.g. Senior Champion at the Israeli Egyptian Event in 2006 and Asil Cup Champion in 2008. Al Ayad died in 2009 at the age of 10.
Baha’s dam Baraaqa AA, a Laheeb daughter out of The Vision HG, makes him closely related to both Al Ayal AA and World Champion Stallion Al Lahab. Her dam, Al Baraqai AA, added extra refinement through Baahir.
Baha AA himself was succesfully halter shown. Still in Israel, he was named Israeli National Champion Colt in 2011 and Egyptian Event Europe Senior Champion Stallion in 2013. Later he was leased to the U.S.where he won the Egyptian Event Champion Stallion title n 2014.
Through his success at the Egyptian Event, Jeff Sloan got aware of Baha AA and acquired him later that year. He and his partners, in cooperation with Midwest Training and Breeding Centre, have stationed Baha AA in Scottsdale, Arizona, a major center of Arabian horse breeding in the United States. His foals in the United States have been well received, and he is expected to continue contributing to breeding programs in the coming years.
